Yaris - Before alternator replacement : You hear that "WHIRR WHIRR WHIRR WHIRR" coming from the alternator? Yeah. It's not supposed to do that. The Toyota dealership wanted 5 for JUST THE ALTERNATOR, not to mention a brazillion more bucks for labor. I said "Aw HELL no" and fixed it myself using a used part from a local junkyar.... er... I mean "automotive deconstruction and recycling center" called "Tubb's Used Auto Parts." Total Cost? .
