Although it is now by far the most popular color for a new Corvette, believe it or not, Black was the least popular color from 1964 until it was discontinued for the 1970 model year. Originally assembled on June 22, 1966, this car wears older paint in fair condition. Front chrome bumpers have been replaced or rechromed, and are in very nice condition; although the rears might have also been replaced or rechromed, they show a little more waviness than the fronts, and are in good condition. Emblems are newer and in very good condition. All glass in this car shows a correct date code. Weatherstripping is older, but is mostly intact and in good condition; taillights are in fair condition, showing typical cracking. Original chrome door handles are in good condition with minimal pitting. This car wears correct original 1966 hubcaps in good condition with minor pitting. Tires are Coker Classic redline radials showing 4/32nds tread remaining. Sidepipes have been added to make sure that you're heard even if you're not seen in this stealthy classic.
